In Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, a special exemption for electric vehicle owners is currently in effect, offering a significant benefit for parking. If you own an EV in Armenia or are considering buying one, this guide clarifies the rules for you.

Based on the Yerevan City Council's decision No. 482-N, throughout 2026 (until December 31, inclusive), owners of fully electric vehicles are exempt from parking fees in the city's "red line" zones "A" and "B".

Who Is Eligible for the Exemption?
